On line UCAS Application ............. It is a good idea to print this page!

Start by typing the address http://www.ucas.com/students/apply/ into your browser. Works best with Firefox browser.
Select student Login 2010.
Choose register on the first occasion.
Choose the option "a school or college"
When you are asked for buzzword, type in issecandidate
When asked for your tutor group, the right answer is "don't know"

Carefully type your personal details. Make sure there are no spelling errors and you've typed your name as it appears on your passport. Do not enter nicknames! Continue answering questions until the end.

You are now ready to start completing your UCAS on line application form. Make sure you don't lose your login and password codes.

Start by returning to http://www.ucas.com/students/apply/ and type in your login and password.
Fill in the personal information, making sure that the institution and course codes are correctly filled.

Your personal statement, which you may already have written using a word processor, can be copied and pasted into the UCAS application. You may save your partially completed form at any time and continue with it sometime later. Click here for more tips on personal statements.

At all times I can view your partially filled on-line application form but cannot edit it, or make changes. If necessary, I could e-mail you with comments and suggestions.

When you are fully satisfied that you have completed the form to the best of your ability, you may press the 'send' button. At this point, you will need to make a credit card entry for payment. This final step will "ready" your application for me. I will then add my recommendation letter in the body of your application form and send it on to UCAS in the UK. At this point, I could still send it back to you for editing if I discover any imperfections. However, once it is sent to UCAS, it cannot be retrieved or edited.
